Burn it Away Spell
- paper and pen
- a fire of some sort – bonfire, fireplace, or matches with a fireproof container
Prepare your spellwork area.
Meditate on the things you wish to burn away – negative habits, negative energy, negative people, etc.
Write down your negatives, giving each one its own piece of paper.
If you have a lit fire – bonfire, fireplace, etc.
Crumple each one and toss it into the fire, saying the following: "I cast you out by the power of fire." As you do this, think about how these things make you feel and why you are burning them away.
Let the pages burn and spread the ashes on the wind once cooled.
Move on into the new year knowing that you are on a better path in your future.
If you have a fireproof container and matches
Crumple each one and toss it into your container, saying the following: "I cast you out."
Once all pieces are in your fireproof container, light them on fire and say the following: "I cast you out by the power of fire." As you do this, think about how these things make you feel and why you are burning them away.
Let the pages burn and spread the ashes on the wind once cooled.
Move on into the new year knowing that you are on a better path in your future.
