Wicca Today

Wicca has come a long way in its short life as a religion. Technically speaking, Wicca was founded by a man named Gerald Gardner in the mid-20th century. He claimed that it is a religion that was shrouded in mystery and secrecy, and he was simply bringing it to light. We can’t really know this for sure, but that doesn’t make it any less valid.

Today, Wicca has blossomed and spread throughout the world, but not without its share of controversy. Wicca, and witches in general, get a bad rep through television and other forms of media. There are also those, although there are few of them, who claim to be Wiccan but are not.

That’s why I’m here. I’ve felt a calling for a long time to teach and bring my knowledge to others who want to experience Wicca for themselves. There’s already a lot of information out there about Wicca and the practice of it, but I do feel like most information focuses on the spells and Magick, when that is not at the very core of Wicca. Yes, it can be a part of your faith, but it is not the reason I am here. If you are looking for secular witchcraft, I’m afraid you have come to the wrong place.

I’m here to help you along your path as a Wiccan, or spread some knowledge to those who are only seeking to understand. And you may have a thing or two to teach me as well. It is an ever-evolving process, and there is always something new to learn.
