The Wiccan Rede is one of the core tenants within Wicca. Even though it is only eight words long, several longer versions have been created to help the new Wiccan learn about the Sabbats and different correspondences. If you are new to Wicca, I recommend keeping a copy of the Rede in your grimoire or Book of Shadows.
Remember, though, the Rede is just a guideline, so use your critical thinking skills!

Elder be ye Lady’s tree; burn it not or cursed ye’ll be.
When the Wheel begins to turn, let the Beltane fires burn.
When the Wheel has turned at Yule, light the log and let Pan rule.
Heed ye flower bush and tree, by the Lady Bless’d Be.
This printable uses the very popular long version written by Lady Gwen Thompson. If you’re interested in learning more about the Wiccan Rede, check out my podcast episode where I break down the long version of the Rede line by line!
