Have you ever felt out of place in a room full of people? Have you ever felt like “traditional” religious practices weren’t for you? Well, you’re not alone. Many people in this day and age are shying away from the “traditional” abrahamic practices and looking for something more fulfilling and spiritual.
If you’ve done some digging into more eclectic, non-traditional practices, you may have heard about Wicca. Wicca is a branch of paganism with the core deities being a God and Goddess. The two deities are equal, yet opposite, and encompass the different aspects of the life cycle.
‘Round the Cauldron was born out of a calling to share my experience and practice with those who are willing and wanting to learn. There is a wealth of information out in the world, from websites and books, to blogs and magazines. There is a problem with things that are found on the internet, though, and that is the fact of false information. This isn’t always done out of spite or with ill intentions, but everything that is written on any branch of Paganism should be taken with a grain of salt if the information does not come from a primary source. That goes for this site as well!
So, pull up your chair and join me ’round the cauldron for a nice chat about theology, practices, and issues surrounding Wicca in the modern age.
